Some boards will have already started the journey of being an advanced board without finishing the best practices for being a good board.
This webinar will help board members to get on the same page in board development. It will be a high-level webinar as far as content but at a level that even new board members can understand. Each of the best practices will be discussed briefly by the presenter who has extensive experience in dealing with boards as a consultant to boards, a board member and a board chairman.
There will be time at the end of the presentation for questions and discussion. For each best practices, there will be an opportunity for each entity to respond as to whether that best practice is being conducted at their individual institution so that all participants can see whether the best practice has been implemented by the participants.
Why you should Attend: This webinar will give clarification to the question "With so many challenges and so little time, what should we accomplish now and what should we work on next in developing our board?" The webinar will eliminate confusion and uncertainty.
It will explain the best practices for a good board, and once those are accomplished, what should a board do to become an advanced board. The webinar offers a benchmark so that the board can understand where it stands now in best practices.
